Bryn Mawr Extended Care Center was established in 1980 in a quiet residential neighborhood along Philadelphia’s Main Line near the Blue Route (I-475) and Lancaster Avenue. We are a skilled nursing facility specializing in senior rehabilitation in the Bryn Mawr area. Bryn Mawr Extended Care Center offers not only strives to provide exceptional care, but also offer a variety of activities, professional entertainers and outings tailored to the likes of our patients. A favorite tradition are the surprises our patients receive from their staff Secret Santa’s.

Bryn Mawr Extended Care offers senior rehabilitation services and short- and long-term skilled nursing care. Just like other skilled nursing facilities in the Saber network, our rehabilitation team of physical, occupational and speech therapists assist each patient to help reach his or her goals and strive to achieve their maximum potential both physically and mentally. Our physical therapy programs for seniors strive to get patients home as quickly and successfully as possible. Bryn Mawr has a long tradition of treating our patients like members of our family in a home-like environment.
