Upon arriving at Cortland Healthcare Center you are greeted by a friendly staff. Every resident at Cortland benefits from a spirit of community that is based on family ideals. At Cortland Healthcare Center, personal interests are achieved and lasting friendships are formed that make our facility much more than just a place to live.
Cortland Healthcare Center takes pride in participating in the annual Cortland Street Parade and winning the Grand Marshall Award in the parade for many years in a row. Our residents, families and staff enjoy the friendly competition in the Cortland Main Street Fall Decoration Competition in which we hold many ribbons. Our annual Harvest Dinner, Car Shows, Family Reunion Picnic's, fishing outings, Men's Breakfast, and Snow Ball Dance are but a few of the many activities that can be enjoyed.
Staying active may well be the best therapy for reducing the effects of growing older. Residents are encouraged to be as active as they can be. Activities are created with choice and ability in mind while also considering the resident's level of care. Daily activities focus on exercise, fellowship, and fun.
