The goal of Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation is to provide a homelike environment to individuals seeking either short-term rehabilitation or long-term care. We train our staff to treat our residents as if we, as staff, are guests in their home. Residents, family members, and visitors regularly comment on the cleanliness and homelike appeal of our facility along with how caring our staff is.
It is our dedicated staff that truly set us apart from others. This focus has created a family-like atmosphere in our home that we take great pride in. Our center offers a wide variety of health care services such as: Short-term Skilled Nursing Care; Long-term Care; Rehabilitation Services; Hospice Care; and Respite Care. Our physical, occupational, and speech therapists strive to help our residents meet their highest physical and mental potential.
I have enjoyed my stay at Wilmington Nursing and Rehab. The therapy I received was very beneficial to me and helped me to get stronger and return home. I definitely would recommend this facility to anyone needing to recover from sickness or an injury.

Every resident at Wilmington benefits from a spirit of community that is based on family ideals. At Wilmington, personal interests are achieved and lasting friendships are formed that make our facility much more than just a place to live.
We truly get to know the people we serve and understand each individual's healthcare needs. We know that the residents we serve are your mothers and fathers, your sisters and brothers, your uncles, grandparents, friends and loved ones. Like you, we want to provide them with the best care and support possible. We have the compassion, experience, expertise, skills, and programs to provide the quality care that result in the best possible quality of life.
Staying active may well be the best therapy for reducing the effects of growing older. Residents are encouraged to be as active as they can be. Our dynamic activities department plans many fun, interesting, and culturally sensitive activities aimed at the differing needs and interests of our residents. Activities include community outings, spiritual/religious services, special events for holidays, and physical activities.
