Saber Healthcare Group is excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Medrina, the nation's largest physiatry group, to enhance the quality of care in six affiliated skilled nursing facilities. This collaboration aligns with our mission to strive to provide the highest quality of care possible to all those we are privileged to serve. 

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians, also known as physiatrists, treat various medical conditions to maximize function and quality of life by decreasing falls, improving walking and eating, increasing patient participation in therapy, and more. By integrating Medrina's acute level Physiatry program into the care model, we're able to enhance functional outcomes, clinical quality measures, and the resident care experience- ultimately with the goal of getting residents back to the lives they love.

Adding Medrina’s physiatry services to skilled nursing facilities has proven to provide an approximate:

• 8% decrease in hospital readmissions
• 11% decrease in falls for long-term care residents
• 28% increase in patients who made improvements in function
• 15% above the state average in a successful return to home and community

Medrina has provided services to over 1,300 facilities and has built an impressive network of over 600 doctors. They take the time to match the physiatrist to the needs of the facilities that they work with, including the types of patients they work with and the mobility that they need in the future.

This partnership will enable us to introduce specialized rehabilitative services tailored to each resident's unique needs, reflecting our commitment to customized care.
