Halloween Activities at Home
There are a variety of Halloween activities that you and your loved ones could do at home. Check out our list below.
Watch a Halloween Movie. There are so many different Halloween movies to watch. From creepy and scary to cute and family-friendly, you are sure to find a movie you and your family will enjoy. Instead of eating popcorn while watching the movie, you can eat your favorite Halloween candy!
Do a Craft. If you and your loved ones like to be creative, then you can do a Halloween craft. Craft stores have a variety of Halloween craft kits with all of the necessary materials you need to make a fun and spooky craft.
Paint Pumpkins. Painting pumpkins can be a fun way to get creative and personalize your pumpkin. It is best to use acrylic paint on pumpkins since it is quicker to dry than oil-based paint.1 Make sure to put newspaper down on the table to avoid making a mess.
Carve Pumpkins. If you would like to have more of a traditional Halloween experience, you and your family can carve pumpkins. Most stores have easy-to-use carving tools you can purchase. You can go online to find pumpkin carving ideas and templates.
Apple Cider and Pumpkin Spice. To help get you and your loved ones in the Halloween spirit, you can have a glass of apple cider and pumpkin spice. You can create your own apple cider and pumpkin spice concoctions, or go to the grocery store and get one of the many varieties of apple cider and pumpkin spice drinks.
Decorate a Gingerbread Haunted House. One of the new fun Halloween trends is decorating a gingerbread haunted house. There are a lot of pre-built haunted houses that you can get from your local craft store or grocery store. This can be a fun and creative activity to do with the whole family.
Bake Desserts. If you would like to celebrate the Halloween season through food, you and your family could bake pumpkin spice cookies, dirt cakes, spiderweb cakes, and more. After your dessert is done baking, you and your family can decorate your dessert before taking a bite.
