8 Valentine’s Day Activities for Seniors
With Valentine’s Day coming up, now is the perfect time to celebrate the holiday by doing fun and engaging Valentine’s Day-themed activities! From creating valentines to making crafts, there are a variety of Valentine’s Day activities seniors can enjoy. Check out our list of Valentine’s Day activities for seniors!
Decorating. There are so many heart-shaped decorations available at this time of year! Seniors and their families could take a trip to the store and find Valentine’s Day-themed wreaths, ornaments, banners, knick-knacks, and more to decorate their homes with.
Make Valentines. Another activity seniors can participate in is making Valentines to hand out to their family and friends. Seniors can buy a fun themed set of Valentines at the store or create their very own!
Do a Craft. One Valentine’s activity many seniors enjoy is making a Valentine’s Day craft. Oftentimes, pre-made crafts come with easy-to-read instructions, and the materials a senior will need to get crafting right away. There are also many unique crafts online that seniors can find online with step by step instructions on how to gather the materials.

Bingo. Who doesn’t love Valentine’s Day-themed bingo? Seniors can download bingo cards online or buy a set of cards at the store to enjoy a Valentine’s Day-themed bingo. To make it more fun, a senior could host bingo with a group and offer Valentine’s Day-themed prizes for the winners!
Baking. Another Valentine’s Day activity seniors could do with their family is baking their favorite baked goods. For example, seniors could bake and frost heart-shaped cookies or add heart sprinkles to a cake.
